Every time we tried to play, it was the same mess—everyone hopping between apps, searching for the same table, opening Discord just to see each other, half the group getting lost before the first hand even started. It took longer to set up the game than to actually play it.

So one day I thought… there has to be a better way. That idea turned into PokerPulse.

I built this so you can create a table, send one link, and be playing with your friends in seconds. No searching. No juggling apps. No friction—just cards, chips, and real-time play.

And yeah—if I’m being honest, I also loved the idea of doing something a little unexpected.

Poker is a space that’s traditionally male-dominated, and building an app from scratch isn’t exactly the usual path either. But that’s kind of the point. I didn’t wait for permission or a perfect plan—I just started building something I knew people needed.
